  2. Kenneth loved riding horses in his free time.
  3. One of his classmates at elementary and high school was the filmmaker, writer, political activist, and former actress, Sarah Polley.
  4. Kenneth was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurodegenerative disorder, in 2018 and publicly spoke about his medical condition in February 2020. He began using a power wheelchair in October 2019 and completely lost his voice in August 2021 before succumbing to the disease in February 2024.
  5. He is best remembered for portraying 3 different Klingon characters on Star Trek: Discovery: Kol in season 1 and Kol-Sha and Tenavik in season 2. Additionally, he played the human character named Aurellio in the show’s 3rd season. The showrunners accommodated Kenneth’s real-life use of a wheelchair into the series by making Aurellio appear in a hoverchair onscreen.
